I use Yokohama Avid T4's in a 235/55/16 and for a general purpose tire I am very pleased with them. They are not very good for drag racing as they are a high mileage tire. They are excellent in the rain and on the ice (for street tires) and stick very well on corners. They are nice and quiet and I would buy another set of them. I have owned many many sets of Yokohama tires over the years and have never had a problem with any of them.97 Silver Bird
3.8 M5 Bone Stock Engine
15.528 @ 88.96 bone stock
www.fbodyenhancements.com/

I have Yokohama AVS Sports 235/40/17 on my summer rims and they stick to the road like glue. I have the stock Goodyear Eagle GA's on for the winter and I hate them! Great tire in wet conditions but they still break loose on dry pavement. Probably the best tire I have ever used.
I think this is what most F-bod's are running right now.

Me too! :D ...except I have 255's. They are a great tire plus have that nice sidewall protection for your rims...saved me...some jerk ran me off the road the day after I got the tires mounted. He was trying to get into the pasing lane right where I was...forced me to run up and scrape all along a median! I just had some rubs on the tires(which are not visible now) but my chrome was fine!
