Like you said, trial and error seems to be the way to go. I have ordered the 25mm bar for the rear and will see how I like it when it gets here. I will also look for a 1LE bar and see how that fairs also.

I do NOT let anyone else drive my car now and will definitely not let anyone drive it when the V8 is dropped in.

I appreciate the insight and I will reply soon with my findings on the feelings of the new bar.

Thats excellent, Im very curious about the 35/25 setup

      Also a 35/21 intrigues me.

        Food for thought...

The instruction sheet that came with the front sway bar had a note on it that said that you shouldn't use just one of the two bars because the Suspension Techniques set is a matched set. I know this could possibly be due somewhat to marketing, but they are suggesting the 35/25 setup.

        Any ideas?

A few. Somewhat, I think it's a matter of V8 versus V6. The V8 stock setup is 30/19, compared to the early/late V6's of 30/17 or 28/15. While I still think the 35/25 combo is too extreme for the street, even for a V8, it is a substantially smaller change from stock than it is for a V6.

Also, Suspension Techniques could know more than me. Likely. Or they could just tolerate more risk. Also likely.

Above all else, remember that there are a lot of other factors that affect balance. My overriding wish is that people educate themselves so that they can make better decisions and not be taken in by crummy ideas on the net (there are a few out there :D ) or marketing.

For example, how many knew that sway bar stiffness increases as the 4th power of the diameter? That and doing some stiffness calculations on the bars you're changing from/to seems pretty fundamental to me to understand what you're actually doing. And there's a lot more to know.
