The title says it all. I can get a BAD @$$ deal on some tires and I was just wondering if it was ok to go with 255'S on stock wheels

Yes, you can fit 255's on 16" stockers, the aluminum ones. Stock 16 x 8's will fit a 255 50 16 on there, they look bad *** !!!
