  • sway bar swap

    i have a 99 firebird. the front sway bar is broken. i most likely be replacing it with a lesser year than mine. do i need to replace both front and back since the size difference?

    No. You have a 28/15 setup. Go with a 30mm at least from a 93-97 car - V6 or V8 doesn't matter. Front bar size matters the most.

        I ran a 32/15 on my 94 and liked the way it felt so you should be fine.

          32/21 1LE set up. I rocked that on my v6 and LOVED it.

            GM dropped this setup after only one year. Too much oversteer. You need very high front spring rates for a rear 21mm bar.

              At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
              Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
