  • radio not coming on

    ok well my HU wont come on at all. it was working just yesterday. lastnight i replaced the whole inside of my car. when my brother was taking the console out there is a switch or somthing on the left side corner (i dont know what its even for i think its for i light or somthing but i dont have a console lid.)well my brother was undoing the wires to it (black and orange) when they touched each other. now idk if this would make somthing blow. but i have checked every fuse and checked every wire going to the HU. please help thanks

    Its possible something is still shorted out. Check the wires again, make sure nothing is touching anything else.

        no. it a sony deck. but the wires that tocuhed what are they too? if u open the console lid is a light supposed to come on?

          Yes the light is supposed to come on. It sounds like you blew the accessory fuse. Check the fuses again really closely.

              A4 or M5??

              There is a light for the A4 shifter that comes out a lot.

                  All aftermarket headunits have a fuse directly on them also. Usually, the wiring harness covers it up. Pull the harness off the headunit and pull the fuse out to check it.

                    At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
                    Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
