Can I replace my AM/FM/CD 7 channel EQ stock unit with a 2002 Monsoon head?

You can.... but the ohm values of the speakers are different for the two head units. The standard uses 4 ohm and the Monsoon uses 2 ohm. I have a Monsoon head unit with aftermarket stock replacement speakers ( non Monsoon) and it has been fine for a few years. I had the stock speakers with the Monsoon at first with no problems and only changed them because I wasn't happy with the sound quality.

Do you still have any of the stock monsoon speakers?
