  • PCMforless problems

    I got my pcm back from them and had them delete the egr. As far as i know that was the only code my car was bringing up. I put the pcm in and the check engine light is coming on intermittently. I took my car to autozone and they could not get the scanner to communicate with the car. Is this because pcmfor less locked it and i cant even use a scanner? what is going on here?

    pcm for less doesnt lock their pcms never have.

    maybe you arent getting any power to your obd port?
    not sure if there's a fuse for that or not

      it is funny that you mention a fuse. That is what the guy at autozone said. They never know what they are taking about, i once had a flashing ses and they said something mechanical was majorly wrong.(i never knew a misfire was a major mechanical problem.) So anyway its good to know they dont lock them and where would i go about looking for a fuse?

        Up top, anybody know anything about an obd port fuse or why i might not have power at the port.

          Try PCM/Batt fuse.

            its the same fuse as your antenna. if your looking at your fuse pannel, its the 3rd stack from the front of the car, and 3rd fuse from the top...or it might be 2nd...either way, check em both. i think its 15 amp.
