  • Help with tuning

Well i ordered hptuners and got really good deal on it, it will be here wednesday, but i have a dyno on saturday so i wanted to know what should i tune/change to get some better numbers before my dyno

I dont have alot done, just mid length headers, borla exhaust, my custom lid and a K&N filter, so if anyone had a basic tune for the same parts i have that would be nice so i can kinda see what you changed and learn from there, if not just some help on the tables i could change to see a gain

    Re: Help with tuning

can't really tell you what to change to gain power until you get scans of the car and can see what is going on with it. Sure we could tell you to add 4* of timing, but if you are already seeing KR then that would be a bad idea.

fan settings, trans settings if auto including TM are a few to start with. Eliminate speed limiter also or you will hit it on the dyno and not make a full pull

you will be able to ditch the manual fan switch now if you wanted too. You can activate your fan temps sooner and also make them run longer when the car is turned off using hptuners
