is there another good program like hptuner? i dont want to pay $500 for a tuner but would like to run something off my laptop

Nope. HP Tuners is all thats available. Unless you go stand alone.
DHP used to be an option but I think they went out of business.sigpic

you get 8 credits with it...at 2 a vehicle you can tune 3 other vehicles...charge them for the credits and like 10-20$ extra on the side...or even just for the credits themselves and your tuner is pretty much paid for....

2 credits and you can tune the vehicle as many times as youd like...
