Thinking about getting a wideband O2 sensor so the guys that tune my car (and myself eventually once I get HP Tuners) can tune more effectively. But from what I know, widebands fluctuate from 0 to 5 volts, while narrowbands fluctuate from 0 to 1 volts. So wouldnt the PCM not be able to read a wideband without tuning it or something? Also, would I need to get two widebands for both ports or would just one do the trick. Thanks.

You can add an O2 bung and run the wide band indepently of the cars O2's. One wide band does just fine.

Yeah when you get a wideband if you've eliminated the EGR you can use those wires to read the volts on HPtuners. Or the AC comp line. Haven't done it yet but I will here decently soon. I've got a thread from some other forum alllllllll about it if you need any help.

yea you don't replace your narrowbands with a wideband. It is totally seperate from them. Weld a bung in just in front of the cat.
