no, it doesnt come with a laptop..
you have to supply a laptop
you can get the new MPVI PRO EIO, it comes with datalogging capabilities, so you dont have to have a laptop when you are recording (scanning) your drive.
When you get ready to write the configuration to the car's computer, you are gonna HAVE to have a computer hooked up to the HPT cable which is hooked up to the car.
So, you could use a destktop with an extension cord (I've done this before).
