i intalled the comptuer a little under a month ago. since then, when the car is cold, i have what seems to be a misfire. or it at least feels like one. once the car warms up its fine. i changed the plugs, wires, and coils since then, to no avail. what else could it be? any help would be great, thanks in advance, forrest.
and yes i have already contacted them, and they said that with the mild tune they done they dont see how it would effect anythign like that.
its up in the northeastern corner (jackson county) and half an hour outside huntsville. so i would guess im a good 3 hours away from you. you dont know anyone with a tuner around here i could get a little help from do ya?
there is a dyno tune somewhere around bham or huntsville I THINK. the number is 553-7181. i cant remember where they are located at. what year is your camaro? maybe when i get back we can split the cost of one if we can get it for both of our cars.... you eveo go to bama raceway? its in jasper.
yea that might work, just let me know when and i will see what i can do. ive been their once, but its been a couple years. my car is an 01 with most the bolt ons and running a 75 shot. maybe we can get a meet up some time.
yea its pretty much the same, i'm leaving next wednesday for sixweeks. so it'll be after then. with hp tuners you get to choose two different cars to tune and its $400 so it'll be $200 each. i have a "lil" done to my car, i have a kit with a 65 shot but have yet to put it on. where did you feed the steel-braided hose through you firewall? thats the only thing keeping me from putting it on, i dont wanna have to pull my whole f-ing dash out just to feed a hose through. ya know?
i ran the line up to the passenger side floor board, out the rubber grommet in the floorboard, under the car, up into the fenderwell (between the plastic and the metal one), then up into the engine bay. works real nice.....i have heard the is a grommet in the firewall just below the computer, though i have not found that just yet.
the hp tuners sounds good, and that will give me a little time to save some funds. are their ever any meets or anything like that around here?
there is a gouramet right under your PCm....you just gotta look for it...thats where i had my wiring running through for my nitrous switches and my stereo power wire
Juiced Rally Red 98 A4<br /><br />Way too much to list....<br /><br /> <a href=\"http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415\" target=\"_blank\">http://www.cardomain.com/ride/2263415</a>
i've got my subs and amp wired thriugh the roof.....you dont see a single wire, well i guess i'm gonna have to get on the spray when i get back home. i'll most definatly have the funds then.
