just got HP tuners...few q's

ok i just got HP tuners today and i fixed my speedometer for the gearing/wheel change and changed a few little odd's and ends. But what i really wanna do is change my shift points and some other things...what can i do with it to give me a better tune over stock and maybe a little extra hp???

hey man..i cant find that file i mentioned..but yeah viper's write up is really good..definitely the best place to start

yeah i did read his write up and i smoothened out the main spark vs airflow vs RPM open throttle, High octane...

i dont think you need to smooth out the timing table
only reason to subtract timing in a cell is if youre getting KR
your next best step would be to get a wideband and the EIO ;)

ok i did some more tuning today....i will explain and let me know if im down the right path...

i smoothened out the Main spark Vs. RPM vs Open throttle high and low octanes. Then i took it out for a spin logged on and at like 5200 RPMS it said -4 retard which was the highest retard from 0 RPM's to 5700. From vipers website help it says anything under 5 i believe is fine. So im gonna leave it at that. I messed around with some other things and made sure i didnt have any lean sports or anything. Am i doing the right thing or not??

take away 2* and see if the KR comes back

i had a NA file around somewhere ..it had all the basics..lowered fan activation temps, timing curve modified and raised, higher shift points, etc..but i cant find it anywhere

yeah i enriched my AFR a bit for running nitrous..but like viper said..you REALLY want a WBO2 for that
