The reason I ask is I found a replacement chip that is flashable for the 93 LT1 pcm

Its easy to flash and reprogram.
I took a search for my idea's but couldn't find much info except backwards from OBDII to OBDI..
Is the 93 LT1 also OBDI? Would that make it compatible?
I figure this is going to be good or make me sound like an complete idiot...
Otherwise an idea I had was to put a OBDII system from a 3.8L into my 3.4L car, would that work after a re-program?
Just trying to come up with idea's here that may be possible beyond paying for a reprogram every time I needed one.
