Would anyone be able to tell me what the pro's to instaling a jet chip on my 02 firebird w68? Also would anyone be able to tell me where would be a good place to get one.

    Thanks all

Jet chips are ok for cars with just like an exhaust, however for a little less money you can get a TSP mail order tune and see better gains. Plus if you ever change your mods on your car they will retune your PCM for free for life.

People with the jet stage 2 chip don't see that much of an improvement, some do, but for the most part not much. Also it is recommended by JET to run higher octane gas with the stage 2.

Go with the TSP tune and you won't be disappointed.

Well There is a shop right across the street that does all that type of things. Also they have a few in house dynos. I was thinking of possably going with the hp tuners and haveing it dynoed. What I'm looking for is more overall H.P. and better shift points. I know you can do alot with hp tunners. But what would be the biggest differance between hp tunners and tsp?

cheapest route would be a mail order tune through TSP. If you were to buy hp tuners, that is like $500 plus the dyno time and tuning time at the shop which is expensive just for better shift points and a few more ponies. TSP tune unless you plan on tuning it for bigger mods later on.
