  • o2 sensor questions...

    Just got HPT Usb today.
Did a scan... The scan in question

    Question 1.
B1S1 o2 sensor is a newer Denso sensor.
    B2S1 is an older Bosch.
This shows how much faster the Denso responds to changes. Anyhow, is the Bosch sensor (B2S1) crappy enough to replace yet?

    Question 2.
Where the RPM peaks on the chart is 5725RPM with TPS at 100% in first gear. The injector duty cycle is a whopping 43% Whats wrong???
Injector bank1 pulse never moves, it is always 0.
Back 2 works fine. Does GM only use 1 bank for the injectors?

    Thanks!!!

injector duty cycle is a calculation which i believe uses both banks so if only one is working it will throw off the %

also if your not logging it in the table display it wont show up in the graph...fwiw hptuners website allows you to upload your scans & tune files...might wanna start there a screenshot rarely helps much.

On the v6, should the bank 1 sensors be working?
I was logging them the whole time, so for some reason its just not picking it up.

Both banks should be working. Not sure why 1 would show 0.

it can affect your gas milage

It happens, parts arn't perfect... Probably worth switchin it out and seeing if it fixed your problem. If not trace the wire back and see if its broken elsewhere.
