you dont have to worry about LTFTs / STFTs cause the MAF takes care of your fueling.
you just gotta make sure the MAF is calibrated.
so yes, stock o2s already get you the correct AFR for daily driving (14.7 AFR)

Hp Tuners supports USB or SERIAL. I think they stopped selling the serials though. I'm sure Serial is probably safer, cause it has the 2 screws to secure the connection.

if you've done any kind of intake modifications like gutting an airbox, porting an intake, etc etc...
youre gonna want to recalibrate your maf

you have to have a wideband o2 to recalibrate the maf, and to make sure your Real AFR is correct for WOT (100% throttle).

so it would be all right to buy a newer laptop?
sence they don't have a serial port.

can you buy a wideband o2 and plug it in or si there more to it?

You still want to tune to make sure the LTFTs are within about +/- 5%.

You can't just plug it into the car. You have to have a controller for it, and either a display or input the data into the enhanced version of HP Tuners.

</font>[/QUOTE]why? so when your maf fails you will have good fueling?

by display, you also mean gauge
HP Tuners sells an EIO cord, it logs the wideband into HP Tuners' logs
            like 98camaro said...
Unless you know how to log the wideband another way(which i do)
