Pft...that's easier to read than the website you use. Just import the CSV into excel and you can fix the column headers so you're not always trying to remember which column is what.

I've used 93 octane since I bought my car. How do I advance the timing?

How much should I increase it at a time?

looks like the KR is at the top of 2nd gear

go to edit/engine/spark advance..open the high octance table and raise the timing..id say 2* ..then copy that table into the low octane table and subtract every cell by 4..scan again..and subtract timing where theres any KR

here are 2 new scans I took after I got my alternator fixed...

I had a definition error when I tried to read my VCM so I can't increase the timing until HP TUners gets my log back to me.. hopfully they do it soon so i can actually start tuning my car

it was raining out so I couldn't WOT 1st gear.. if you were wondering

1st - lower your fan temps 217* is not good for anything but emmissions

2nd - that little bit of kr wont hurt anything, i beleave it to be false, however i need your scans to make sure, it could be the high temps,

3rd you can try advancing timing but i would get the motor temps down first..... get a 180* thermo in there....

lucky for you i have HP tuners for the 98
IF your using HP Tuners 2.0 send me your log files and bin file and i can get you a tune after class tonight and you can try it out tomarrow....should take me 40 minute's to get it back to you

this is how i make my log excel files esay to read huh?

also read the sticky i made........ i will not just tune it and give it to you i will sit on aim and explain what all i did and why and also how to do it.... this way you can still learn

I recieved a responce from Keith at HP Tuners and he said that they have never had a PCM like mine, that is why I can't rewrite it. They told me in 1-2 days they will re-write my VCM Suite file and send me a new one so I have to wait to tune until then.

I am going to go buy a 160 thermo for my car, how do I install one of these?

I will be increasing timing when I get my new suite file and doing the table swap as you said.

Here is another scan up a hill WOT dropping from 5th to 3rd gear then running 3rd to redline(67-94mph), there is no KR, notice anything else wrong though?

**ignore past frame 337.. I tried to shorten the log and it didn't work out to well**
