ive read you can swap a 97 pcm into a 96 plug and play (for the purpose of getting hp tuners)
would it be possible to just get a 97 vin (my cousin has a 97 y87 auto that would work perfectly) have a dealer reflash my 96 pcm... or would i have to get an actual pcm to swap?
when I changed my gears to 3.42s and lsd I just had my PCM flashed with a y87 bin and it worked perfect. But then again I have a 97 and got a 97 vin. Not sure if a 97 will work with a 96.
