my car is running horble, could it be the sparkplugs or the wires? its not knocking but it sorta sounds like a knock. i had a mech. look at it and he said he thinks its the spark. what do u guys think?

tonight start the engine, open the hood & check for open sparks. If so, there's you're problem: crappy wires. If not, pull some code(s)
we go from there.
