    2nd question for today.

Can I run any LT1 Maf? what needs to be done?

I am confused when I have searched regarding this, I've seen people mention that you need to get the v6 Maf tables...are they referring to just taking the values off a v8 and inserting them into our MAF table and then tuning from there? or am I having to contact Hp tuners and have a table physically installed into my programming?

    2) as far as connecting the Maf, does the 3-5 wire from zzp only work if the LT1 Maf has a built in IAT sensor? or can it be used for any of the Maf's?

    3) How do you know if the Maf has a built in IAT sensor?

    4) until I get the new intake installed, can I just plug in the LT1 Maf and still leave my current Maf installed (so I don't have to go blocking holes) or would that throw readings off?

If I were you I would contact ZZ and ask them. Their descriptions of the different adapters is somewhat confusing. As far as I know, all of these 5 wire maf sensors utilize the built in ait sensor. You wouldn't necessarily need the adapter, you could buy the 5 wire weatherpack for the sensor you want to use and cut your wires to length, crimp the terminals and load the weatherpack. I'm not sure about the specifics of the tables.

so I picked up an LT1 Maf, do you guys use an extension harness to get it hooked up, or are you cutting and splicing your wireing?

are you maxing your stock one out? or just wanting to relocate? anyway, i don't have any personal experience with swapping maf's but i would just solder the connections.

I would contact ZZP and ask them, they might have a connector you could use.
