Does entering 0 for the first value in the PE enable TPS, put the csr in PE? If not what so I need to change to get my cruise afr to 14.7 with closed loop disabled?

I would try like 10 in the TPS then once your foot is on the pedal it will go in PE mode. If thats what your looking for.

        Re: Forced PE

I entered the first few cells in the PE enable TPS to 0. Now I can use PE to tune for my cruise. Idle is a little rich 13.9. However my cruise is 14-14.7 and doesnt move around much at all. I had so much trouble with this cruise AFR now I can say I belive it is fixed.

Yea definatley. Thanks for the tip man. The only time I see 15afr now is with a light amount of load coming off of cruise control

Another thing someone was saying on the hptuners forum was that I had negative timing on my scanner. That is a 97 thing right??

yea ignore the negative sign ;) Just a fluky thing with our cars. lol If it bothers you, you can make a custom pid to get rid of the negative sign.

I really think the O2 sensor may be the real culprit though. I keep getting the 02 bank 2 sensor 1 code. Does that one have much to do with the STFTs?

If its your O2 sensor off the car then , yes its your O2 sensor.

If I understand it correctly, your O2's are monitored to create your STFT's. So, yes your O2 will affect your STFT's.

replaced the passengers side o2, problem still persists. Open Loop FTW!!!

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
