That's no secret. They don't help. Put the 300 toward HP tuners.

of course you can get 17s and a lowering kit, you can get almost anything with money.

I'm gunna get hptuners when I get $500 to buy it... And I was just wondering because, right now, I have some 16's with tires that are too damn big (but free) and they rub on stock height.

im lowered with the eibach pro-kit (gave me about 1 1/4- 1 1/2" drop) on 17 x 9.5 c6z06 replicas and 275/40's all around, no rub, no fitment issues, and handles like a champ with my suspension setup.

i would advise investing in a good set of adjustable lca's, a panhard, and bumpstops when lowering to get your rear lined up correctly. but no, you wont have issues running 17's and a drop, or even 18's for that matter. just remember the larger your rim size, the smaller height of tire you will wrap it in, thus creating a similar overall dimension.

Save the $650 you need to get the pro version. The basic is practically useless. Might as well save an extra $200 for a wideband as well.
