There was some talk a while back about converting a MAF from a LT1/LS1 to work on a 3.8, and the people removing the post from their TB, got me thinking. Now I know this probably wouldn't work on people with Whisper lids(98&up), but would it be possible to move the MAF to a straight piece of pipe on the other side of the intake elbow to cut down on turbulance? If the pipe was the diameter of the TB? Wouldn't it still measure the amount of air just like the v*s do? Let me know what you guys think.
