  • Programing Keyless entry remote

I have a 1997 camaro and need to know how to program a remote. I recieved directions from a friend and they work up to a certant point and then stop. I am not going to pay the dealer to program it. Any help would be great.

Thanks a lot, forgot about doing a search. I guess you have to close the door or this will not work. I did not close the door when I tried that. It’s raining here in St. Louis so I probably wont get to try it till the weekend.

It should only work for one car at a time after you've programmed it. Does it unlock both of them now?

I know on my '96, I just push both lock and unlock till the doors unlock and I'm done.
