  • Blinker won't disengage

I was driving and when I turn on the blinker for the left it won't disengage after I finish the turn , however it does still work when I make a right turn. How do I fix this ?

mine does this with my high beams, its was the position the wheel was at, so i raised the steering wheel a little and it works fine now

I tried that but i still have the same problem . Like I put my signal on to turn left. And I turn my steering wheel all the way to the left and then straighten it out and it still blinks

Sounds like the blinker switch in the column. Mine does the exact same thing, and I have just gotten used to turning it off manually until I get around to replacing it.

yea, this isnt a bulb issue, it's a Chevrolet issue. my astro van, my dad's Cadillac and my car all do this, on the left side too...just put up with it or replace the switch in the column, not too terribly hard, but not worth the effort i dont think for the price/work

You start by removing the steering wheel and lock ring that locks the column when the key is off. You may not have to replace the switch as the return spring in it is all that breaks. You might be able to find the return spring in the HELP section of the auto parts store.
