Anyone running just a hi-speed switch? i'm thinking of doing the mod while I install the nitrous kit, and it seems the low speed would be kind of pointless; main reason I want the fan is to run it in the staging lanes. So, anyone running just one-speed for the fan, instead of using the DPDT switch to have hi and low? Any reason why I shouldn't do it?

i dont see how it could hurt. if you're only using it for staging lanes, then high speed is the one you want running anyhow.

      Re: Fan switch

just run a SPST switch to the high-fan wire, and then ground the switch....should work.

ya, that's what i'm doin. I just ordered a few switches last night from RS; a covered arming switch, momentary pushbutton, and lighted SPST for the fan.

            NO, NO, NO!!

There is NO high speed fan wire!!

You need to ground THREE relays for high speed on the fans! Relay #1 is for low speed, Relay #2 and #3 with Relay #1 gives high speed.

If you don't have the wiring diagram, or understand how the circuit works, don't mess with it.
