  • Help! Light problems

ok so about a week ago i fixed the grinding noise my headlight motor was making, but now when I turn on my headlights only my left one comes up, and then when i turn them off, my right headlight pops up. (looks like its winking if i flip them on and off). If anyone could give me a little advice it would be appreciated.

      Re: Help! Light problems

when you fixed the grinding noise you may have reversed the gear, or put the gear back in the wrong spot

nope, already checked. rotated gear 180 degrees to fix the grinding and then this happened so i rotated it 360 degrees to try and sync it with the other light.....nope. so i turned it back to the original worn side of the gear where it was before and it still was only raising one light at a time

You rotated the motor housing with the magnets in it 180 degrees. Makes the DC motor spin backwards.

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
