Is there a cd/cassette player combo that will fit in a 1996 camaro?

I know Jensen has a din and a half that will work, but I'd stay away from it. I could swear kenwood had one a while back, like a few years, and Alpine has something. Might check their webistes.

Alpine does have one, try Alpine

They aren't the best quality decks out there. in fact, they're one of the lower-end manufacturers. Sorta like a Walmart brand thing.

If your happy with it, then who cares, right? That's the real important thing.

jensen's have been known for lacking in quality although in recent years and seen in the last few models, they have been much, much better and are now competing with other brands. alpine's for 1.5 DIN are the best. but to me, they are WAY overpriced.

Agreed, Jensen just doesn't have a real great history of quality like say Alpine. Although since we are very limited in Din and a Half selection, if you like it, that's great!

I looked on Alpines page and I can't find a cd/cassette combo. Does anybody have the model of it?

ICANCOZHAVOK - I did a little research for ya and found out that Alpine doesn't make a 1.5 DIN CD/Cassette unit. The one I was thinking of was a Double DIN.

Anyways, Jensen is the only one I could find that had both in a DIN and a half unit. Your other option could be to get a CD changer and put a tape deck in as the HU. Every company makes a HU for tapes only, but it will not fit completely and will need an adapter.

96 T-Top Bird got a Jensen and seems happy with it...if you need to get a Din and a half CD/Cassette player then the Jensen is really your only choice.

I just found out that Sanyo makes a cd/cassette combo. I don't think that it would have a great sound to it.

The Sanyo I saw was a single DIN unit. Besides it's....Sanyo!!
