Ok heres the deal; I have a '96 Camaro with a Bose upgrade factory sound system. I bought a line level adaptor thingy to add RCA outputs to my factory system so that I can add an amp. I removed all the panels to get to the radio (it just dosent pop out like alot of people say). And when I removed the radio all the wires were different colors then what is posted on the wiring diagram of this site. So I had no clue what to do. So I put it all together again without doing anything. So I went down to Circuit City this morning, and asked them what I needed and they said that I needed a converter (which I already have). But they said that it needed to be hooked up after the factory amp, otherwise it wouldnt work. I have no clue what to do. I know nothing about audio and this is my first time trying this. I was thinking of having Circuit City doing it but I cant justify spending $50 on something that I might be able to do. ANY and ALL help would be greatly appreciated. I need to know where to put this and which wires are which.
Thanks in advance!
