question about stock speakers

can we use our stock speakers with an aftermarket headunit.

also

is 240 watts enough to run all of them, i have the delco/bose system.

I put in a Sony Xplod 50w x 4 (i think) in my 96, and left in the factory speakers. I have a 15" sub in the back, so i cut all the bass from the factory speakers (with built-in crossover in my head unit), and they sound fine...

however, with the bose system (which i don't have), it may be different if you have the 6 speaker system...


and yeah, the amp for the factory head unit is built into it...
