I used a crossover type thing..

I tapped into the inputs to the stock amp.. then just used the crossover to convert it to the other line type and plugged that into the amp.

I forget the names of the wire types. :( I'm out of it this morning.

is that one of those audio output convertors that taps into the high input off the speakers and converts it to low output (RCA)

Best and easiest thing to do, buy a Line Out Converter, theyll now what your talking about, your mounting the amp in the back right, "right", so use your Right Rear or left rear speaker wirh and tap into that, put the line out converter in the space bewtween the plastic cover and the back seatbelt mount, fits perfect, anything else just lemme know.

just realized i was pretty vauge in that one, the line out converter has six wires, left channel right channel and a common ground, you wont use those, just use left or right, this converts to RCA, like the hook ups ona vcr, run that to your amp. easy as that.

I used one of the power antenna wires. I'm not sure if this is a good idea or not though. I remember hearing something about it frying the antenna or the output from the HU..

I do know that my power antenna never goes down now. :( But my amp works when it should! LOL
