do u guys like how a headunit looks with all that damn plastic around it??? Thats why I am afraid to get one, they just look out of place in that big space. I may have to look around for some 1.5 din HU's

I had that pioneer, but someone decided they needed it more than I did. So I got a flat lcd screen sony. I think it looks really good of a 1 din in that big 1.5 din space.

      Here's a couple pics.

That's almost what I got, but mine is the DEH-P47DH (only 1 set of pre-amps was the main difference to me). It looks alot better than 1 din units everyone has, IMHO. Only beef I have with it is that it sticks out farther than I think would look best.

To me, all the plastic doesnt look too bad. It goes with the rest of the dash being black. Id rather have a 1 din unit compared to all the other 1.5 din recievers cuz they look funny since they are really fat.

about how tall are single din HU's cuz the opening on my firebird looks to be only 3.25 in. That doesnt seem like it would leave too big of gap of just black filler plastic, right??
