well I know the older pioneer units had a seperate brain...I dont BELIEVE this unit has that, I might be mistaken...other than that the unit is a little dated but none the less very nice.....just a wiring harness adapter and your set to hook it up in your car....thats a decent price too....but, its not touch screen...only downfall I can see

oh well in that case, thats pretty top o' the line besides the alpine unit....but uh ya just a wiring harness I believe
