  • the big 3!!!

does neone have pics of this i am going to attempt it tomm. upgrade to 4 ga, and what about the ground?

if your going to do it, i would go 0 gauge, just so you dont have to do it over again if u upgrade more...

but, all 3 wires should be the same size
so, if your going with 4 for the power, use 4 for the ground

unless you are planning on drawing some SERIOUS current from you charging system, or you just LOVE overkill..... 0 AWG cable is overkill. It's really expensive (like $4-$5 a foot) and very cumbersome to work with. 4 AWG is much easier to work with and many stereo shops have misc chunks of it laying around, ask them if they have any scrap 4 AWG and they'll either just give it to you or it will be really cheap.

While I will agree 0awg is overkill, it's not THAT expensive.

            $2.25/foot

Hit up a local welding shop for even cheaper prices. You'll be fine with 4awg
