• cuting 6.9" speakers

In the rear of my car I have some lik 5 1/2 inch speakers. The spot they ar currently in looks like it ca fit a lot bigger speakers. I want to install a pair of 6/9's. My friend can cut the speakers he said to fit the spot. Do you think this will work?

It'll work, but if your gonna run some bass through them, I'd expect their to be alot of rattling

not really, make sure your 6x9 have a room under the panel. Under the drivers side panel. Make sure that they not sticking out of the panel ,- otherwise you wouldn’t be able to close the trunk
`ve done it for mine 350w speakers , now I have 2 holes there, maybe smaller ones will fit.

Why 6x9's? Round speakers sound better.
