    6 amps?

    okay well i just ordered an electric water pump from intense racing..

    Its a meizier or something water pump. the specs say it draws a constant 6 amps from the alternator.

    Im just wondering if the stock alternator can handle an additional 6 amp drain. or will i be experiencing low amperage when driving?

    i'll only be driving with the stock amp for another month or so then im ordering a 180 amp alternator from 4altstart.com

    Only 6-amps?...you won't have any problems whatsoever. Even an alternator from a Yugo could handle 6-amps.

      wuuuurd. I ask because when i play my radio loud the volts drop like hell when the bass hits .. i'll just have to disconnect my amp in the meantime till i get the 180 amp alt.

        ebay has ho alts also might want to check it out, it might even be the same company i don't remember. I got mine from ebay and never had a problem.
