  • About to tackle system setup tomorrow...tips?

Well I bought my amp, power kit, wire etc today and i'm going to hit it first thing in the morning. I think I pretty much have everything covered...just wondering if theres something i'm missing. Here's what I got. 2 kicker comp c12s (4ohms) and a pionner 800w amp. Since the amp is mono can I still use this wiring guide? ---->http://www.infinitysystems.com/caraudio/2-4-2.aspx

I'm going to put the amp under the seat. Any problems with that? I'm running the speaker wire down the driver's side, the RCA cables down the middle, and the power wire down the passenger's side. Sound ok?

As long as you have enough clearance under your seat you should be fine, and yes, you can use that wiring guide.

Have you taken a peak under the seats? Not too much room for anything under there....

Well the amp didnt fit under the seat so I just set it behind it in the floor. No one sits back there and if they do they can just sit on the other side. Install went well, took a better part of the day (about 11:30 to 4:00) but I got it done and I didnt even have to troubleshoot anything. I was amazed that it worked with no problems first time around.
