• AMP PROBLEM!!! HELP!!!

okay, first let me assure everyone that I have everything wired & grounded correctly. The wires and ground are 100% absolutely not the problem. Okay, when I turn on the radio with my sub hooked up to my amp, all I get is some static, but static that actually moves the sub as if it were hitting deep notes. Now here's the funny thing. I removed the RCA's from the amp(so there is no signal from HU to amp) and the exact same thing occurred. Does anyone have any ideas. I'm assuming that it is the amp itself. Is it a bad ground within the amp?

wut you do is take out the subs and put them in your fireplace and set them a blaze!
Hopefuly it will get ride of the evil spirts, once it has pull the sub back out of the fire and hook it back up.. SHOULD be good as new don't quote me on that tho

Did anything happnen to the amp leading up to this? Is it just with the radio? What happens with CD's?

your getting induced voltage on the power line and its carrying over to the singal inside the amp,

1. the amp ground is bad
did you sand the paint off b/f you gounded?

2. the main gound for the car is coroded/bad and leting interferance from the engine area on you power wire.

or the amp has a "cold solder" and its ground is not perfect

It's when ever the radio is on, including CD's. Even with all the gains completely down it does this. I wish it were as easy as the ground, but it's the same grounding point as my other amp which works fine.
