  • question about a install

I just had power door locks installed on my car and what I was wondering is if what they did is very safe or is the right way to do it. It seems as if when the ran the wire to the fuses (next to the driver door I see just one single wire running inte the little place for the fuse with the fuse on top of it. It almost seems like they did not wire it straight into the fuse box but instead just ran one wire and stuck a fuse in with the wire? Is this installation done right or is it safe to have it like that?
    Thanks

Yeah, that is fine. As long as the wire is fused you will be fine with it like that. It would take a long time and would have cost you quite a bit of extra money for them to actually run wires the way the stock wires are run from your fuse box. As long as there's a fuse in the wire, it's safe. If there is a problem with it, the fuse will blow and that's the whole reason for having one.
