well stereo stuff isnt my thing but i got 2 JL 12w2 V2's powered by a JL 500/1 amp and my amp cuts out when battery voltage gets to low so do i need a capacitor or whatever its called to solve this prob? If i do whats a cheap one to keep these JL's thumpin?

A High Output Alternator is the best way to go. Although, if you just have the 500/1.... you really should be having that big of a problem..... e-mail dominick of Irragi Alternator ( dominick@tds.net ) OUTSTANDING prices! You'll be surprised. I'm VERY statisfied with mine! :D

I 2nd a capacitor, Gesh for someone who isnt big in stereo u sure did buy nice stuff. =) yeah A cap will stop the voltage drop just get a decent one, a 1 farad should be fine, dont get a smaller one though. .5 farad is said to work for a 500 watt system but I would go larger to give u extra.
