  • How do you think this setup is going to sound?

Income tax refund was WAY more than I expected so i'll be able to do my sub setup all at once now. Im getting two kicker comp cvr 12's, audiobahn amp model # A2200HCX, rated at 300 watts x 2 rms in stereo mode at 2ohms and 1ohm stereo stable. And then the dual 12 sub box (sealed) made for our camaro's. I think this setup should sound pretty good. Lemme know what yall think.

um Id say it'll sound decent with the kickers good subs, but Id bet my 1 sony xplod ( not a good sub at all compared to teh comp VR ) would be louder, I wouldnt say better but definitly louder, The 2 12 box is a nice idea, but not the way to go in our cars. Custom setup is better. that box is so genaric. - but -ahh, are the 2 subs in separate spaces, or do they sare the same footage inside the box.- And Id say u need more power to the subs than 300rms- o , and are they teh 2 voice coil 4ohm subs or 2 coil 2 ohm subs.

Actually the setup has changed a little bit. I talked to a guy that just opened his own shop and hes a certified 1st class installer about to go for his master certification. I heard two audiobahn excursion 10's in the back of a 95 camaro and it absolutely pounded! Enough to set off my alarm from about 40 feet away. I now have purchased 2 audiobahn excursion 12's (700 watts rms each) and a audiobahn HC mono amp that 1200 watts rms at 1 ohm (which is how the subs will be wired.) 1 farand audiobahn capacitor, box and install the price was right around 1200.00 Everthing should be going in sometime next week.

Hey that sounds almost like my friend Bryans setup. Gotto http://www.subthump.com and look at Camaro/Firebird page and you will see that he has the 2003 Kicker CompVR's with a Kicker 800.2. His system kicksazz!

At the end of Part Three, we changed the valvetrain of the 3.8-liter V6 in the Tom Henry RS. We installed new, Yella Terra "Ultralite" 1.8:1, aluminum roller rocker arms, Katech valve springs and Katech titanium retainers on our 3800 Series II V6.
Ultralites are nearly 25% lighter than the stock 1.6 rockers and 8% lighter than the SLP aluminum...
