  • Odementor and trunk stopped working

well i got my new hendunit in, but the trunk and the odementor stopped working. We cutted the wire harness and realized our mistake and i got it professionaly installed and its all good now.

The trunk when i hit the keyless or the butten in the car i just here a click in the glove canpartment.

The odementor just stopped lighting up and i wondering if iam acutlly even recording miles.

I would guess its just a short?

    Any suggestions?

First thing would be to check all the fuses. Test them, don't just look at them. Hopefully that's all it is.

This actually just happened to me as I was carelessly installing a clunker HU to replace my stolen one. Anyway, it's one of the 25 amp fuses that is blown. I think it's 3rd down, 3rd row from the left. If that's not the exact spot, it's right around there.

200 bucks from speed automotive. The pads were shot though so, i had to get those though. Its pretty easy to do, jus takes some time.
