  • bose but no rear seakers?

Why does my car have the bose option and no rear speakers? I took the panels off in the side panels and there is what looks like a factory rubbery tape thinng coering the openings. I was also wondering if there are still factory wires in there somewhere before ripping the panel off?

my bose system had 5 speakers....2 in the front, two in the rear and the little bose subwoofer in the back. It was the delco bose system. I took it out, and put 3 JL's in the back

My Camaro only had 3 speakers for the bose sytem also. And NO, there is no factory wiring to the rears. You have to run the wiring under the paneling to get it back there. Just rip off that black sealing.

hmmm.. i have a 5 speaker bose system too... maybe it has something to do with the year... cuz i and a few others have a 96 with 2 in front, 2 in rear and 1 sub in trunk.... i don't know why everyone ripped their system out but mine is so great and loud that it rattles the trunk!
