  • What to do with blown JL 10w3 D2 sub?

I have a sub that has a frozen voice coil I believe... and bought it from tweeter over a year ago so I believe the warranty is up..

what can I do with it? I'd like to get it repaired and sell it or something. It just sits there.

By a new one. It can be repaired, but you'll end up spending the same ammount of $$

Congratulations, you have yourself an oversized paper weight, enjoy :D
Yea, you can repair it, it could or could not cost the amount of a new sub. Take it to a stereo shop and see what they say.

Maybe I can find a hookup that can "exchange" the sub and have JL fix it. *i hope*
