DING DING DING DING DING GRRRR

we all know and hate the damn DING DING DING that you hear when the door is open and you have the radio on or when you leave the keys in the ignition with the car off...

HOW CAN I DIABLE THIS LITTLE MOFO..i HATE THAT FREAKING SOUND!!!!! yeah its small and trivial but it annoys the pi$$ out of me

It's a little box under your dash, above your legs. But you will also lose the "lights on" reminder too when you pull the module out.

the mudule will pull out or do you have to pull a fuse to turn it off...and by the light on beep thing..that is only when you turn the lights on manually...i rarely do that so thats not a problem...

On mine, the module that does the dinging is on the passenger side, just above where your feet are or behind the glove box. Take the lower trim off or lower the glove box all the way and listen for it to find the exact location.

There is a button on your door the size of a pea... Glue that down or some crap and it will never happen again... When i'm sitting in my POS saturn i but my foot on that cause my dad won't let me do anything to his car.... [img]graemlins/toto.gif[/img]

What year did they make the dinging noise constant? In my 96, with the ignition turned to the accessory position and the door open, it olny dings a few times, then quits.
