Getting a new head unit....

I'm ditching the Sony... i've had enough of it's sh*t.

I'm getting a Kenwood KDC-V7017 for the following reasons:

• Adjustable color so I can set it to bright red to match my interior
• CD-Text
• D-Mask
• CD-RW capability
• Sirius Satellite Radio ready
• It's NOT a Skippy... er I mean Sony.
• I'm getting a great deal on one. [img]smile.gif[/img]

I'll let everyone know how it works out once I get it in.

i love my kenwood excelon X717... adjustable color, motorized d-mask, sirius ready, etc. it's been very good so far. it's never ever skipped on me. [img]tongue.gif[/img]

Sony car audio sucks!?!?!? Not really. Sure their regular decks have skippage issues, and their new stuff is all tacky red...But if you can find a 2100G amp or 200G....BUY IT! Major clean power, good looks, and did I mention a TON of power? We won't get into their top-end stuff that runs over 10,00 for a complete set-up and has won as many or more SQ awards as any other brand including Eclipse, Focal, Alpine, and MB Quart to name a few. Saying Sony's whole line sucks would be like saying all Fords suck. Sure I am not a big fan, but I have much respect for the Lightening and a few others in their line-up.
