Yea, but you're gonna need an adapter. You might transfer your message to the stereo forum.

Nah, just drop into Best Buy or any other car audio dealer in town. Ask for an LOC (line output convertor). Should be under 25 bucks.

What do you do once you get the LOC?

me and my friend were thinking about doing this on his '91 maxima, with a bose sound system....

his cousin gave him a free 12", not sure of brand, he never told me

              thx in advance

The LOC has a few wires to tap into. You should probably use the rear channel speaker lines from that came stock. This LOC simply makes that signal into one usable by the amps. It takes regular speaker wire, and gives you RCA outputs. Easy to hook up the LOC towards the rear of the car where the amp will be so you don't have to run wires from to back for the LOC.

Would there be a difference in sound if i was to use the loc or buy a new face. And what could i do to get the lower frequencys out of my stock speakers.

Crossover won't make lower frequencies, it just lets them be played. But if your sub, enclosure, and amp are not all capable of certain frequencies, then a crossover won't help. Certain box designs don't play as deep, period. Certain subs have limitations. Other amps don't have enough power to push the sub and keep it in control at lower frequencies. Your set-up is only as good as its worst component. You might have to upgrade, but try working the gains and crossover settings on your amps for now.
