• Check out my system

Hey everyone, just wanted to see what you think of my system.

Here is a quick rundown and then the pics...

Head Unit: JVC-99 Digifine mp3/CD player
Component: Pioneer (dunno the model #)
    Sub: (1) Audiobahn Alum12v Subwoofer
    Amp: Concept Class-D 1200watt amp
    Enclosure: Custom Fiberglass Subfloor (ported)
    Wiring:Stinger

I only have the amp turned up a 1/3 of it's full power...I dont think this one sub can handle the amp's full power ;) GREAT amp though, I highly recommend Concept...many of you may not have heard about them BUT this amp is EXCELLENT competition quality. NEVER heats up =)

I really like how it can be "concealed" from people's eyes. That way you can give them a ride and freak'um out with the stereo.

Say, where did you get that box? It looks like a great fit, and kind of hides them when the lid is closed. Pretty sweet man!

Hey I had 2 of those exact subs runnin off a Rockford 800a2 TURN UP THE POWER:-P atleast to half those subs can take 600 watts easy they are rated at 1200? I think, CLEAR bass and a nice boom. Just my .02 also audiobahn has a VERY good return policy if you bought it from a licensed dealer.

              the box is custom made.

              I'll explain it to you...

its a 2 piece box, (the lid and the actual box) Why I keep calling it a box I dunno, it's actually a subfloor.

the lid is just wood with some vinyl (which needs to be redone to match the tan interior).

a subfloor is basically a fiberglass enclosure, it fills the whole trunk, you can make a lid for it or have it molded to the contours of the car.

I chose to do a lid w/ some vinyl to top it all off. I wouldn't consider selling this system just yet, unless I was given a good offer. ;)

if u get it made by a car audio shop it shouldnt cost you around $400.

It is well worth it too. I wouldnt reccomend it if you are going for speed too. It's weighs a ton!
