  • Door lock sensor for remote locking

    I have a 2K Camaro and I find
    that if hit the unlock button by the trunk,
    it does not want to work.
    Does anyone know where the antenna is located on the car
    to pick up the signal to lock or unlock the car?

    {battery just replaced}

    You need to press it twice to unlock the hatch.

      I have had the car for 15 years...I do know how to press the button.
      Sometimes if I am in front of the trunk, I have to push it about ten times.
      Yes I changed the battery without affect.

        So maybe the contact on the remote is worn out?

          Mine did the same thing ended up being the bcm. I found a thread on here that walks you through the repair. Basically you have resolder a few things. Worked for about 6 months more, maybe a year, in the end I got rid of the bcm and hooked everything up old school, that was an ordeal to say the least no more problems though.
